Call them conscious capital, call them triple bottom line, at the bigBANG! we called them Socially Conscious Businesses.  And thanks to   Adam “Jax” Lotia, a University of Texas at Dallas filmmaker, we were able to highlight two innovative local businesses that are focused on a social impact in our community.   Both Soap Hope and The Demeter Project are featured and represent excellent examples of new business models bubbling up from a new breed of entrepreneurs… social entrepreneurs.  And now, they are gaining national attention!  Check out Soap Hope co-founder Salah Boukadoum recent attention on CNN Money!
